1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the website of The Alchemy Attorneys, PLLC (“the Firm”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Scope of services
The Firm takes on work only through a signed representation agreement or a signed mediation agreement. These are two different roles. When we represent you, we act for you and only for you. When Victoria serves as mediator, she is a neutral third party under Chapter 154 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code: she acts for neither side, does not give either side legal advice, and cannot go on to represent either party in that matter. Each party in a mediation is free to have their own lawyer.
3. No attorney-client relationship
Viewing this site, submitting a contact form, or communicating with the Firm by email or phone does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential case details until a formal engagement has been confirmed in writing.
4. Confidentiality and communications
In a mediation, communications are generally confidential under section 154.073 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. That protection has limits. It does not override the duty to report suspected child abuse or neglect under Chapter 261 of the Texas Family Code, it does not shield a document or fact that would be discoverable anyway outside the mediation, and where confidentiality conflicts with another legal disclosure requirement a court may review the material privately and decide whether it must be disclosed. Please ask before assuming a particular disclosure is protected.
5. Fees and payments
Published mediation rates are honored as stated at the time of engagement. Fees for representation and for other matters are set out in each client’s written agreement before any work begins. Rates may be updated prospectively at any time.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site belongs to the Firm. That includes the text, the graphics, the Alchemy emblem and the brand elements. None of it may be reproduced without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
7. Limitation of liability
The Firm is not liable for damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its general content. Laws change and outcomes depend on specific facts. Always seek advice tailored to your circumstances.
8. Governing law and contact
